My name is Alexandra Krogman, but you can call me Ali. I am a UX designer with hands-on experience in web design, content strategy, and user research.

In other words, I’m passionate about every pixel, every word, every question.

Webby nominee

I’m incredibly proud to have been nominated for a 2025 Webby (People's Voice) for Momentum.

Stanford Report

As a visual designer for the new Stanford Report, I’m excited to have created a clean, visually appealing, and user-friendly platform that highlights Stanford’s leadership and innovation on a global scale.

Library roots

I began my career at the University of Illinois, diving deep into user interviews and usability testing to improve library tools and services. I’m proud to say that my published research has advanced the scholarly conversation on how libraries can support students and faculty in the dynamic, ever-changing research landscape.

The following projects have refined my approach to solving complex design problems.

They’ve shaped me into a versatile designer, able to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. In addition to the case studies below, you can view some recent homepage sketches in Figma as supporting evidence of my visual design work.

Service pages

Working with the Stanford Libraries web team, I led the restructuring and rewriting of library service pages. By simplifying language, cutting redundancies, and using iterative usability testing, I reduced the number of pages from 100+ to just 30, improving both efficiency and user experience.
